Purchasing Livestock Tags
Making a purchase is quite straightforward.
However, it is important to check the details you supply, for accuracy before committing to the order.
If there are any doubts about whether you have added the correct data, just call our customer service department on 01697 342 060.
To make your order, browse the available sheep and cattle tags.
Select any items that you wish to buy.
There are a number of options that you will need to choose. These may include:
- Colour or colour combination
- Whether special laser printing is required
- Sizes or size combination
To comply with the British Cattle Movement Service (BCM) and DEFRA requirements, we also need to record herd, holding and animal data to ensure traceability of all livestock. Depending on the animal and whether the tag is for a newly born animal, a replacement or a management tag; you will be asked to provide some of the following data for each order:
- Herd Number / Herd Mark
- Own Herd Number
- Tag Number/ Starting Number
Additionally, there is also a text box into which you can record any special requirements or notes for our staff to be aware of: as they complete the order.
Please double check your order information for accuracy as once printing is commenced mistakes cannot be rectified and you will be charged.
When you have finished one item or group add that item into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a payment details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept Visa, Mastercard and Switch. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Back ordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information securely over the Internet or call our customer service department on 01697 342 060.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
All our product prices include VAT @ 20%.
You may order online using a credit / debit card (We accept Visa / Mastercard / Switch). All prices are in pounds sterling (£) and credit / debit card transactions for orders outside the UK will be converted by the card company at their current exchange rates. All our transactions are processed by our payment partner PayPal.
Secure online payments are safely and securely collected through PayPal, using your credit/debit card details or your PayPal account. Tynedale 4 Tags do not have access to, or use of, your credit/debit card or Paypal account details.
